Day by Day Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens: Arrival into Athens
Welcome to the birthplace of western civilization! You’ll arrive at Athens International Airport taking private transfer to your hotel in the city center, about a 40-minute journey. Once there, you’ll have the rest of the day at to enjoy at your leisure. A walk can help beat jetlag and you’ll find plenty unique shops to explore, enticing cafes for sipping wine while people watching, and of course countless historical landmarks. As you’ll visit many of them tomorrow, if you want to do more than unwind, consider exploring the historic Plaka neighbourhood – it’s colourfully picturesque and always fun to wander through.

Athens: Private Guided City Tour
If you want to enjoy sightseeing and some of the tastiest flavors of Athens, this private walking tour is ideal. Climb to the top of the sacred Acropolis to greet the Parthenon that’s been looking over the city for centuries as one of the world’s most important structures. Your expert guide will reveal the stories behind the hill, its monuments, and the city’s rich heritage. Next, intrigue all your senses while delving into the local cuisine, visiting artisans who’ve dedicated decades to perfecting their recipes, along with specialty food shops known for sourcing the best products from across the country.
- Day 3
Mykonos: Fly to Mykonos. Private Walking Tour
It’s time to travel to the Greek Islands, beginning with a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Mykonos. Upon your arrival, a private driver will welcome you and bring you to your accommodation. Get settled in and refreshed before taking a private walking tour. Some of the highlights include the Folklore Museum, set within an 11th-century home, the famous Papaportiani Church, the area referred to as “Little Venice” and the iconic windmills. You’ll conclude by sampling Greek meze and enjoying a wine tasting by learning about the history of Greek wines.
- Day 4
Mykonos: Day of Leisure
Enjoy the day to yourself, relaxing or exploring at your own pace. There are plenty of beautiful beaches to enjoy lounging on sipping cocktails, or you might choose to take an island tour in a four-wheel drive vehicle. These excursions can bring you to hidden places that you probably wouldn’t find on your own, including idyllic beaches, jaw-dropping views, and charming villages. Mykonos is famous for its delicious farm-to-table food, if you want to learn how to cook it, a variety of cooking lessons are available too. Some are hosted in locals’ homes, and at the end of your lesson, you’ll enjoy the meal.
- Day 5
Mykonos: Sailing Tour
Look forward to five hours sailing on an elegant yacht, visiting Rhenia, an uninhabited island gem. You’ll depart from Mykonos’ new port, Tourlos, soaking up the Mediterranean sun and feeling the salty sea breeze on your skin while surrounded by the sapphire Aegean. If you’re interested, the crew can even show you how to trim the sails. You’ll arrive at Rhenia in about an hour, which is part of ancient Delos, separated by a small strait. Enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of a secluded bay and relaxing on a pristine sandy beach before returning to the vessel for a light lunch.
- Day 6
Naxos: Transfer by High-Speed Ferry from Mykonos
After checking out of your hotel, you’ll take private transfer to the port where you’ll board a high-speed ferry for the 45-minute transfer to Naxos. Just before entering the harbour, you’ll see is the Gate of the Apollo Temple which dates back to the 6th-century BC. The massive door-like ruin sits on a scenic point overlooking Chora and the sea. You’ll be met by your private driver for delivery to your accommodation and after settling in, you might want to take a walk along the waterfront. Lined with shops and eateries, it’s easy to find an enticing spot to unwind with a sea view.
- Day 7
Naxos: Culinary Discovery
Your private driver/guide will bring you on a half-day culinary tour which includes a mix of history, culture, agriculture, and cuisine. Head to a local farm where you’ll be greeted by the owner and shown around the grounds, gathering seasonal vegetables while learning about Naxian agriculture. Afterward, head into the farmhouse to join the owner in her kitchen. She’ll instruct you on how to prepare a traditional Naxian meal using the ingredients you’ve gathered and then you’ll sit down to enjoy it. Next visit an olive oil producer to find out how it was once produced, followed by a delectable sample.
- Day 8
Naxos: Day of Leisure
Enjoy the day to yourself on Naxos – if you want to get active, consider the climb to the summit of Mount Zas. Otherwise, as the island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Cyclades, spend the day enjoying them. Plaka is a 2.5-mile stretch just minutes from Chora, lined with beach bars and tavernas. If you head to the secluded southern end, you’ll find plenty of tranquillity, along with nude sunbathers. Don’t miss exploring the center of Chora with its hilly, cobbled streets overlooked by the Kastro. You’ll find plenty of great photo-ops among the whitewashed buildings draped with bougainvillea.
- Day 9
Santorini: Transfer by High-Speed Ferry from Naxos
It’s time to take off again, this time of Santorini. Your private driver will transfer you back to Naxos port where you’ll catch your high-speed ferry, reaching the island in about two hours. As you sail in the steep walls of the grand caldera make quite the impression. After you disembark, an assistant will be there to greet you and help you navigate the busy port and get you to your transfer, with a private driver delivering you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure – you might want to just sit back and enjoy the dazzling. view
- Day 10
Santorini: Private Guided Morning Tour
Explore Santorini’s countryside along with its tranquil villages and some interesting, abandoned neighborhoods on this tour. In between, you’ll sample local volcanic wines at a traditional winery and enjoy a beer-tasting experience at a unique microbrewery. Your expert guide is a local who will bring you to meet other Santorinians to learn about crafts and professions that once thrived here but no longer exist. You’ll discover magnificent mansions, and cave homes and take a trip back through time for a glimpse of the island before it was hit by a devastating earthquake. There will be opportunities to take advantage of extraordinary photo-ops, from breathtaking views to picturesque ruins.
- Day 11
Santorini: Evening Cruise
You’ll have most of the day to yourself to explore Santorini at your own pace. We recommend visiting Akrotiri, one of the Aegean’s most important prehistoric settlements, preserved under ash like Pompeii. This evening you’ll embark on an exclusive cruise aboard a catamaran. A private driver will bring you to the port where you’ll sail towards Red Beach with its unique fiery sands. Continue to White Beach where you’ll have time to swim, and then cruise to the famous hot springs for a soak in the naturally geothermal warm water. A BBQ feast with Santorini wine will be served before sailing back to port
- Day 12
Departure
After 11 nights and likely hundreds of photos, your luxurious Greek Island escape comes to an end. Enjoy one last breakfast before checking out of your Santorini hotel. Your private driver will meet you for the transfer to the island’s airport to catch your flight back to Athens.
