After check-in, take time to refresh and get settled in, enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure. You might take this time to explore the locally area, lined with traditional 17th century mansions or just relax with some lunch in one of the pretty pavement restaurants overlooking the canal. 

This morning you will meet your local guide at the hotel and quickly delve into the historic heart of Amsterdam, wandering through iconic landmarks like the bustling Dam Square and the venerable canals. Traverse the renowned Canal Belt, meandering along cobblestone streets flanked by charming canal houses, each with its own unique tilt. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. We suggest a visit to the Rijksmuserum, one of the finest art galleries in Europe and home to countless Dutch masterpieces from the likes of Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Jan Steen. 

Escape the city crowds and uncover the serene beauty of the Dutch Countryside with a private excursion to Giethoorn. Embark on a captivating journey through this iconic water village, gliding along its picturesque canals on a scenic boat cruise through the ‘Venice of the North’. Giethoorn charms visitors with its network of waterways and quaint absence of roads and cars. Delight in its fairytale ambiance with enchanting canals, rustic wooden bridges, and historic farmhouses crowned with thatched roofs. Accessible primarily by boat, Giethoorn offers a tranquil escape, with winter transforming it into an ice-skating wonderland. Our journey continues past WWII memorials, an ancient theater, and historic canal-side buildings. Conclude the walking tour at the Anne Frank House, with a personal entrance ticket for further exploration at your leisure. Immerse yourself in history, emotion, and resilience on this unforgettable excursion.

By now you’ll have got your bearing on the compact old town, so the afternoon is free to enjoy the city at your own pace. 

Escape the city crowds today on a private tour to the Tulip Garden of  Keukenhof, and the windmill lined canals as Zaanse. Embark on a journey through the picturesque flower fields of Keukenhof Gardens, boasting over 800 varieties of tulips and an array of colorful blooms. Wander amid millions of flowers in vibrant hues and catch sight of the day’s first windmill. Following a leisurely lunch (paid locally), venture to Zaanse Schans to explore its historic village and iconic windmills alongside your guide. Dive into the rich history of the area and visit a traditional clog workshop to discover the art of clog-making. Cap off your experience with a visit to a cheese farm, indulging in tastings of authentic Dutch cheeses, before returning to Amsterdam.

After checking out of your hotel this morning, your adventure comes to an end. Your private driver will meet you there and provide a transfer to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport where you’ll begin your journey home.
