Gaze at the beauty of Real Alcazar
Downtown Seville is littered with historic gems including the soaring Seville Cathedral and the golden tower of Terre del Oro, but the crowning glory has to be this breathtaking 7th-century Royal Palace. Real Alcazar is an architectural masterpiece, a marriage of Muslim and Christian influences – known as Mudéjar, a design style unique to Andalusia – which has been frequently rebuilt and embellished since its original use as a Cordaban fort in AD 913. The Palace has a strict allocation of 350 visitors at a time, so we recommend coming early to beat both the queues and the midday heat.
