Chobe Princess Overview

The Chobe Princess is a fully-equipped houseboat on the Chobe River. The boats are moored inside the Chobe National Park and the river lies between Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Botswana. The area is home to some of the best game viewing in Africa, especially in the dry season when thousands of elephants come to drink from the river.

Each boat has 3 or 4 cabins, the Standard Cabins have large sliding windows, and the Superior Cabins have a balcony. You can watch the wildlife from the comfort of your bed as the boat travels along the river. Cabins have air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. The main boat has a smaller boat that can be used for game viewing and sailing. The main public areas comprise of a lounge, dining area and large deck. There is an onboard chef to cook for you.

Activities onboard include going on a small boat to see the wildlife, walking tours, fishing or a visit to a local village. The best part of the houseboat is at night when everyone else has left the park, you are still there with the sounds of the wildlife.
