Little Vumbura Overview

This intimate, luxury safari camp is surrounded by water in the beautiful Vumbura Concession of the Okavango Delta, providing year-round water and safari experiences. Hop in an open Land Rover to enjoy game drives that bring coveted sightings of animals like wild dog, lion, and leopard all year-round, along with outstanding birding throughout the year on foot, on water or a 4 X 4. As the camp is surrounded by annually flood grasslands, there are many other species that are regularly seen, including zebra, giraffe, elephant, wildebeest, African wildcat, and cheetah, while the waterways are home to crocodiles and hippos. Accommodation is in safari-style tents that are well-appointed with en-suite facilities and their own private decks. All are identical with the exception of the honeymoon tent which features an outdoor tub and a fabulous view. Meals are typically served at the communal dining table although private dining can be requested too.
