Tarangire Treetops Lodge Overview

Tarangire Treetops is located in a private wildlife management area just bordering Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania. Second to the Serengeti, Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife, with elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo and impala aplenty. The lodge itself is elevated and built around an iconic thousand-year-old baobab tree. Like the main lodge, the rooms are also cantered around marula and baobab trees, offering expansive views across the Tarangire plains. This camp can be combined with a northern Tanzania driving itinerary (combining the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti) or, as a stand-alone safari in Tarangire. If this is the case, we would recommend the period of June to October as wildlife is at its best. If you have ever wanted to sleep in a romantic treetop lodge or camp, this is for you.
