The Liuwa Plain National Park is located in the west of the country, and is one of the most remote and exclusive parks in all of Zambia. As well as its remoteness, Liuwa is famous for its wildebeest migration. Although it’s much smaller than East Africa’s wildebeest migration, this huge park is home to a movement of over 30,000 wildebeest and zebras. It’s also home to a growing population of cheetahs and hyenas. You can explore the Liuwa Plain National Park by vehicle, on foot, or by canoe (in season). WIth only a handful of camps in this breathtaking national park, you will enjoy private safaris. Between the months of October and July, Time + Tide’s luxury camp – King Lewanikwa – is open and certainly one of Zambia’s premier safari camps. This award-winning design camp comprises 5 luxury tents and 1 family unit and stis on the riverfront.
