Day by Day Itinerary
- DAY 1
London: Arrival
Your royal adventure begins with your arrival into London’s airport where you’ll be met with a warm welcome from our driver who will provide a private transfer to your elegant hotel a stones throw from Westminster Abby, where King Charles III was recently crowned. After check-in, take time to refresh and get settled in, enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure. You might choose to visit the Abbey itself, the resting place of some of Britain’s most famous faces from Elizbeth I and Mary Queen of Scots to Charles Dickens and Stephen Hawking.
- DAY 2
London: Royal London Tour
Today you will be joined by our private guide for a fascinating expert-led tour of some of London’s most iconic landmarks. This 3-hour private tour with a private guide and chauffeur will take you from your hotel to see the Houses of Parliament where some of the most important decisions in British history have been made. Our guide will take you past Buckingham Palace (outside) home to King Charles. You will learn the secrets of Trafalgar Square and see both Westminster Abbey (outside) and Big Ben in all their glory. You will also get an opportunity to visit one of the world’s oldest department stores, Fortnum & Mason which is over 300 years old. This is the perfect introduction to London with a local at your side to tell you all the stories.
In the afternoon there will be the opportunity to visit the inside of Buckingham Palace, however, tours are only available in the summer months. Please check with our Sale Team to see if this is available.
- DAY 3
London: Windsor
Embark on a quintessentially British excursion today to the pretty town of Windsor, just outside the capital itself. Upon arrival, step into the majestic Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Wander through its opulent State Rooms, adorned with exquisite artworks and regal furnishings, tracing the footsteps of monarchs past. Pause in reverence at St George’s Chapel, the final resting place of the beloved late Queen Elizabeth II, where architectural marvels and centuries of royal history converge. Conclude your day with a leisurely stroll along the charming streets of Windsor, perhaps indulging in a traditional English afternoon tea before bidding farewell to this enchanting royal enclave.
You will return to London in the early afternoon with time to explore the British capital at your leisure.
- DAY 4
London: Hampton Court Palace
Another enjoyable excursion out of London today to the enchanting Hampton Court Palace, a bastion of Tudor and Baroque grandeur. Arriving at the palace gates, immerse in centuries of regal history. Built in the 16th century by Cardinal Wolsey and later expanded by Henry VIII, Hampton Court is steeped in intrigue and splendor. Wander through opulent state apartments, where royal dramas unfolded, and lose yourself in the lush palace gardens, echoing with whispers of courtly romance. Experience the splendor of the Tudor kitchens and marvel at the intricate Tudor architecture. As the day wanes, return to London enriched by a glimpse into England’s royal past.
- DAY 5
Paris: Transfer from London
It’s time to begin the second leg of your trip by transferring to Paris. Your private driver will meet you at your London hotel, providing a transfer to the London St-Pancras Station where you’ll take the Eurostar train to Paris. Upon arrival into the City of Lights, you’ll be welcomed by another driver for a private transfer to your hotel in the Saint-Germaine neighborhood of Paris, known for its many designer boutiques like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own, with many cafes and restaurants steps away, you’re perfectly situated for enjoying a fabulous Parisian meal alongside fine French wine.
- DAY 6
Paris: Orientation Tour, Conciergerie & Afternoon Tea
Today you’ll get to explore Paris in depth with your own private guide on a four-hour tour of its many highlights. As Paris is a large city, we’ve included a metro card allowing you to see more of the city in less time. It’s also much quicker than traveling by car. Must-see landmarks include the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Montmartre neighborhood, but like many standard tours this included the Conciergerie a former courthouse and prison. During the French Revolution, 2,780 prisoners, including Marie Antoinette, were imprisoned, tried and sentenced.
The tour will conclude at the historic Angelina Tea House, one of the best places to enjoy cake – just like France’s most famous Queen once did!
- DAY 7
Paris: Palace of Versailles
One of the most popular day trips from Paris is a visit to the Palace of Versailles and this morning your private driver/guide will bring you to this grand chateau and its breathtaking gardens. No detail was overlooked with opulence throughout the stunning royal residence and its grounds. Follow your guide along the winding paths through the gardens to view colorful flower beds, ornamental lakes, and the canal used by King Louis XIV for gondola rides. With skip-the-line tickets in hand, you’ll head into the palace without a wait to marvel at the over-the-top grandeur, including the 17 arched windows all of which are embellished with individual mirrors in the Hall of Mirrors.
- DAY 8
Paris at leisure
After a busy few days, today is a time to relax and enjoy the French capital at your own pace. You may choose to visit the Eiffel Tower or wander the Louvre, one of the largest galleries in the world and home to countless French masterpieces. Or you might choose a quetier day in St. Germain, enjoying the food markets and the quintessential Parisian pavement cafes.
- DAY 9
Amsterdam: Transfer from Paris
This morning you will continue your journey through Europe and transfer to the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. Your private driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Gare du Nord where you will board the highspeed train for the 3.5-hour journey through Belgium to the Netherlands. Upon arrival, you be welcomed by another driver and transferred to your last hotel of the trip. Enjoy this pretty city of canals and historic townhouses at your own pace for the rest of the day.

Amsterdam: City Highlights Tour
This morning you will meet your local guide at the hotel and quickly delve into the historic heart of Amsterdam, wandering through iconic landmarks like the bustling Dam Square and the venerable canals. Traverse the renowned Canal Belt, meandering along cobblestone streets flanked by charming canal houses, each with its own unique tilt. Explore the quaint alleyways of the 17th-century canal district, adorned with picturesque bridges and the stately homes of affluent merchants. Venture to Jordaan, a former working-class enclave, where the poignant history of Anne Frank’s hidden refuge unfolds. Amsterdam’s allure lies not only in its architectural marvels but also in its rich tapestry of stories waiting to be uncovered.

Amsterdam: Utrecht & De Haar Castle
Depart from Amsterdam with your private driver guide to lesser known Utrecht. A picturesque city adorned with charming canals and historic architecture. Explore its vibrant streets, visit the iconic Dom Tower, and immerse yourself in Dutch culture. Think Amsterdam without the crowds
Next, venture to De Haar Castle, a majestic fortress with a rich royal history dating back to the Middle Ages. Restored in the late 19th century by the Rothschild family, the castle boasts opulent interiors, lush gardens, and enchanting surroundings. Learn about its connections to European nobility, including frequent visits by Queen Wilhelmina and other royal figures. Traverse the castle’s halls and gardens, where tales of romance and intrigue await at every turn.
You will return to Amsterdam in the late afternoon, but still with time to explore this beautiful, buzzing city.

Departure
After checking out of your hotel this morning, your adventure comes to an end. Your private driver will meet you there and provide a transfer to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport where you’ll begin your journey home. Or, if you’ve combined this trip with another, head out on further travels.
