Best time to visit India

India ranges from tropical beaches through deserts and jungles to the dizzy heights of the Himalayas. There are five climatic regions: equatorial, humid subtropical, savanna, mountain, and desert. Added to these are the main seasons of winter, summer, and monsoon, so it stands to reason that many different weather patterns also ensure that India is a year-round destination.

For classic itineraries, we recommend October through to April, but speak to your consultant for advice on how to plan the best possible adventure year-round.
