Just gazing out at small alpine villages like Lech, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere interrupted only by cowbells is enjoyable here.

The spectacular capital boasts an enticing coffee culture, magnificent works of art, and a rich history, with the Inner City narrow streets lined with centuries-old buildings while baroque palaces soar overhead.
Salzburg
The birthplace of Mozart where you can almost hear the “Do-Re-Mi” of the von Trapp Family singers echoing through, Salzburg boasts a storybook Old Town and a beautiful riverside setting.
Innsbruck
The capital of the Tyrol region, Innsbruck is a sight to behold with a fairytale-like Old Town and jagged mountain spires that are so close you can almost touch the rock.

Summer and winter are the most popular seasons to visit Austria, with its epic mountains ideal for skiing and hiking. The main tourist season for sightseeing is May through September, with July and August the peak, which are also the warmest months of the year. Accommodation rates rise with tourist demand, which means prices are highest near ski resorts in the winter and in popular visitor destinations in the summer. Spring and Fall are the shoulder seasons that can provide a good alternative for avoiding the biggest crowds while still enjoying relatively pleasant weather for hiking and other outdoor activities.

Even without the “Sounds of Music” or Mozart, Salzburg would draw visitors with its stunning beauty.
