Tortilis Camp Overview

Amboseli National Park is famous for its elephant populations and the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Tortilis Camp sits in the heart of Amboseli National Park and is a wonderful camp for so many reasons. Its 16 tents are a mixture of canvassed frameworks and makuti roofing (a type of thatching made from sun-dried Coconut leaves). The rooms are not fancy in design but that is the beauty of them – the rooms are comfortable, simple and without the thrills. Saruni Samburu

Nestled in the heart of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on top of a hill, Lewa House boats expansive views over rolling hills with the sacred mountain of Ol Olokwe and the Mathews Range to the north while Mount Kenya lies to the south. Game drives, night drives, and walking safaris provide the chance to spot all the Big Five, just some of the 70 different animals here. In the middle of the property, a large and elegant thatched building that has an open fireplace at one end serves as an ideal place for mingling and enjoying a drink before the evening meal is served at the large dining table. There’s also a large swimming pool overlooking a waterhole that provides some of the best wildlife viewing in the area. Sand River Camp Overview

Sand River Camp is situated along the banks of the river that it was named after. The camp is located inside the Masai Mara National Park and with no borders of the camp, there is wildlife regularly spotted from the rooms and main area. Sand River Camp is made up of 16 tented rooms in total but they are separated into two camps (one of 10 rooms and the other of 6). Each camp is self-sufficient and offers the exactly same experience – luxurious yet rustic accommodation, exceptional food and drink, and of course, personal and knowledgeable guiding. One of the highlights of the camp is that it is located on the wildebeest migration path so head out on a morning or afternoon game drive and get the opportunity to see the herds in their numbers. Kinondo Kwetu

Located on a tranquil, white sandy beach along Kenya’s southern coast, Kinondo Kwetu is a family-owned and operated venture that makes it feel more like staying with friends.
