The rice fields, also known as rice terraces, offer the chance to enjoy romantic strolls among strikingly lush beauty. At Tegalalang Rice Terraces, you can capture a selfie together with one of the “Love Bali” signs and enjoy the view from a zipline or jungle swing too.
Bali is renowned for its spas, with so many it’s impossible not to bump into one. Many come complete with zen gardens and serene ponds to enjoy along with blissful treatments. Perhaps a couples’ massage, which not only relieves tension but causes natural chemicals to be released in the body that increases happiness.
There are many spectacular beaches in Bali, with Seminyak home to stretches of white sand stretching for five miles. Bali experiences two seasons: dry and rainy. July and August are the peak of the dry tourist season, running from April to October, with the seas calm and rain few and far between. The rainy season, November through March, is the low, quieter season, although the temperature is about the same year-round, ranging from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (about 27 to 32 Celsius).
