This itinerary is a fantastic option for those looking to combine bucket list experiences in East Africa. You'll start your unforgettable safari in Uganda, where you will trek with the habituated mountain gorillas in Bwindi - a humbling and emotional experience! You'll then fly back to Entebbe, where you will connect onto a light aircraft plane to Kenya's Masai Mara. Your local safari guide will meet you on arrival at the airstrip, where you'll begin your game drive to the camp. Spend 5 nights on safari in this exceptional park, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in open-sided jeeps.

You will met on arrival in Entebbe International Airport by a private, local guide/ driver. You’ll spend the night in a luxury, boutique hotel where you can rest your head after your long-haul flight. You’ll feel revitalized and refreshed, ready to start your Uganda adventure tomorrow.

  For a comfortable night in Entebbe to rest and recover after your long-haul flight, then Hotel No.5 is a perfect choice. Located in the nestled leafy suburbs of Entebbe, the hotel is a small and intimate hotel with beautifully designed rooms and impeccable service. The luxury rooms are gathered around the tropical gardens, and the swimming pool making the center stage. Days 2 - 4
Bwindi National Park
This morning you will fly to Bwindi National Park – the beautiful forest in Uganda. You’ll spend the next three nights here in Bwindi, where you will experience a mountain gorilla trek, a golden monkey trek, and of course, take in the utter beauty and serenity of the forest. For the morning of the gorilla trek, you’ll be transferred to the park headquarters to be briefed on the logistics and rules of gorilla trekking, Each group includes 6 people, rangers, trackers and porters. Once assigned your group, you will begin your trek to find the gorilla group. This may be anywhere between 2 and 6 hours so be prepared and ready to hike! Once you find them, you will be allowed one hour to watch, observe and enjoy their presence. It is a humbling experience.

  Bwindi Lodge is one of our personal favorites in all of Uganda and certainly offers one of the most luxurious experiences in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The lodge itself is located minutes from the gorilla headquarters and from all areas of the lodge, dramatic views of the forest are on offer. The main area itself is the most impressive – there is a modern cosy fireplace, comfortable sofas and glass windows that look out to the dense, green forest. Behind the main area are 9 bandas with spacious ensuite bathrooms, a private outdoor veranda and a personal butler service. This national reserve really is one of the best locations for wildlife, with impressive sightings year round. From leopards to cheetah, buffalo to elephant – the Masai Mara has an exceptional collection of species. You’ll spend 5 nights in a luxury tented safari camp, with all of your meals, park fees and safari activities included every day.

Sand River Camp is made up of 16 tented rooms in total but they are separated into two camps (one of 10 rooms and the other of 6).   Kicheche Mara Camp Overview
  Located in the heart of the Mara North Conservancy in southern Kenya, Kicheche Mara Camp is one of the favourites in all of Kenya. This conservancy is one of the biggest conservancies in the Great Mara region and offers fantastic resident wildlife year-round, as well as the opportunity to see the wildebeest migration between the months of July and November. Alongside its location, the main draw of Kicheche Mara Camp is that it is a haven for photographers. The safari guides are well experienced working with photographers and take into careful consideration the angle, the lighting and the prediction of the animal behaviour. Another reason Kicheche Mara is so loved is how much conservation it is involved with and active in, such as the The Long Run which is a project working towards a sustainable future, touching the lives of 750,000 community members.
Day 10
Depart
After your breakfast in the bush, you’ll be guided to the airstrip to fly to Nairobi. Here, you can either connect onto your international flights home, or we can organize a day of sightseeing in Nairobi, including visits to the Sheldrick orphanage, the giraffe center and the Karen Blixen Museum.
