Not only is this country one of the most jaw-dropping landscapes in terms of its beauty and photographic opportunity, but it also offers such a diverse range of safari activities and unforgettable excursions. In this itinerary, we have combined three destinations to give you a short but sweet snippet of Namibia, ticking off highlights like Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the Skeleton Coast to name a few.

Day 1
Windhoek
Welcome to Windhoek! On arrival, you will be met by your private driver/ guide where you will then be transferred to your hotel in Windhoek. You will spend one night at the Weinberg, which is a centrally-located hotel and a comfortable spot to rest your head after your long-haul flight. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Windhoek that we can help make reservations for, or alternatively the famous Cape Town Fish Market has a branch here, and is co0nvienitally located at the Weinberg.

  Located in one of Cape Town’s most desirable locations, the Bay Hotel has unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mesmerizing sunsets it offers. The Bay Hotel is in the area of Camps Bay – a trendy and popular area home to many restaurants, cafes, and bars, all within walking distance. Although the hotel is relatively large, the level of service is excellent, and the staff at the front desk, the pool bar, and restaurant will assist you in anything you need and make sure you are well looked after. The nightly stay includes breakfast which is served in a restaurant on the third floor, offering views of the glistening ocean.   Cape Grace Overview
  Located on a private quay in the V&A Waterfront, the Cape Grace is the epitome of luxury. The hotel is surrounded by the ocean, with a stunning backdrop of Table Mountain. The hotel is a short walk to the busy hub of restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Although this is a large hotel with 120 rooms, guests still receive a highly personalised service. The spacious rooms all feature their own coffee machine, mini bar, marble bathrooms, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The Signal Restaurant focuses on the local Cape dishes as well as European classics. Bascule Bar has a wide range of wine and 400 whiskies from around the world. It is a great spot to relax in the evening so make sure you take the time to sit outside and watch the yachts sail past.
Days 2 - 3
Little Kuala, Sossusvlei
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Windhoek and transferred to the domestic airport. You will check in and go through safety briefings before enjoying a scenic flight in a light aircraft plane. On arrival into Kuala, you will be met by your safari guide and the adventure begins! Drive in a 4×4 safari jeep to the luxury lodge, Little Kuala.

For the next couple of days, you will enjoy all that Little Kuala has to offer. Your luxury suite has a very spacious and well-appointed lounge area and private veranda. On the deck, a day bed and a private plunge pool awaits, and at night, the staff roll the bed out onto the deck so that you can sleep under the stars. The main area has a swimming pool and plenty of lounge areas including a library and decking platforms, where you can enjoy drinks and dinner served by the dedicated staff at all times.

In terms of activities here at Little Kuala, you can do game drives in both the morning and afternoon, when the temperatures are cooler. You can also do an excursion to the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. This is a photographer’s dream! Here, you can climb some of the most iconic dunes and take fantastic photographs of the contrasting orange dunes and blue sky.

This is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms and today, a visit or stay at Babylonstoren gives you the opportunity to see the hard work that goes into all elements of the farm – from the agricultural upkeep of the locally-grown vegetables to the careful production of the grape and wine-making. The gardens throughout Babylonstoren are simply stunning. Whether you wander through the herb gardens, the tropical greenhouse, or the lavender fields, you’ll find great botanic diversity and so many beautiful aromas. Situated close to the town of Franschhoek and a stop on the Franschhoek wine tram, Babylonstoren is a popular place to visit for a day trip. With a small entrance fee, you can spend the day at Babylonstoren, wandering through the gardens and eating at one of its many restaurants, offering a farm-to-fork platter. If you are looking for somewhere special to stay for a couple of days in the winelands, we cannot recommend the farm hotel at Babylonstoren enough. The room categories at Babylonstoren include garden cottages (both one-bedroom and two-bedroom cottages), replicating a traditional and authentic farm-stay experience. There are also 9 one-bedroom farmhouse suites, and 6 fynbos cottages (4 two-bedroom and 2 one-bedroom cottages). Finally for families, there is both the Manor House and the Fynbos family house which can both accommodate up to 10 guests. There is so much to do at Babylonstoren, and with a couple of days here, you’ll be able to enjoy the slower pace of life that a farm-stay should be enjoyed.
Days 4 - 6
Skeleton Coast Camp
You will fly from Kuala up north to Hoanib. This is a true desert oasis in a land that seems uninhabitable, but a few days here and you will soon learn that wildlife in all forms and sizes live, and have adapted here. Desert-adapted lions and elephants are among these incredible species who have adapted, and if you’re lucky, your guide will be able to find these for you over the three days here. You can also do a day excursion to the Skeleton Coast.

The Skeleton Coast is an eerily beautiful region where the vast desert meets the crashing waves of the Atlantic. Stretching for 300 miles, it’s littered with shipwrecks. One of the world’s driest places, the cold ocean currents form a dense fog that often covers the coast, confusing captains who ultimately left their vessels behind.

  This is a five-star family owned and run lodge that is located in the prestigious Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, famous for offering some of the best wildlife sightings in Africa. The area is known for its leopard population, normally very difficult to spot in the wild, they are seen daily in the Sabi Sands. The reserve also permits game walks, where you can go out into the reserve on foot with your ranger. The lodge comprises of six thatched suites along the banks of the river. Each large suite has a private plunge pool and an outside deck with seating. Inside is a lounge area, free standing bath tub, outside shower and a large bed with a canopy of mosquito nets. The suites have fans to cool them down and are decorated in a contemporary African style. You can relax on the extensive wooden deck while the outstanding staff meet your every need. You do not even need to leave the lodge for your game viewing – a steady stream of wildlife passes by the lodge.

Depart home
Today you will say goodbye to paradise, and take a light aircraft back to Windhoek. From here you will connect onto your international flights. A popular route is to fly to Johannesburg, where there are more options for international flights home.
